These both make it quick for you to review multiple applications. New in 4.0 is also a risk assessment to categorise the listings by how good or bad they are.
Category Submissions
This is where you accept, reject, and edit category submissions. This area has and added feature - a category filter. Here you can enter a specific part of a category and have it delete every instance of it. This can help to counter spam, and thus saves you time. New in 4.0 is also a risk assessment to categorise the listings by how good or bad they are.
Premium Submissions
All premium submission requests go here. Once you have checked payment, you can accept, reject, or edit the submitted site.

Menu Items
In this area you can add menu items, which appear down the right hand side of the script. For security reasons you cannot enter html here, though with our code you can still make links, bold, italic and underlined items.
Configuration #1
Here you can change administration items with the script. These include:
-Intro Text
-Heading
-Slogan
-Advertising Code
-Footer (if paid)
-Link Error Message
-Submission Rules
-Category Submission Rules
-Previous Search option (on/off) [this turns off and on the previous searches sitewide link. Previous searches stores all the searches that users have done on your directory. Having this turned on helps create content for your directory - and thus may have an effect in search engines.]
-Show Amount of Sites Indexed (off/on)
Configuration #2
Here you can change additional options here. They include:
-Homepage Title
-Advertising Code #2 (shown on the left)
-Bottom Menu
Pending Links Filter
This is one of the most intuitive ways to combat spam listings. Here you can enter in a part of any title, URL, email, description, and/or IP and it will return all the related listings pending approval. Here you can choose which ones you wish to delete.
Accepted Links Filter
This is very similar to the pending links filter except that it returns accepted links. This means that if you have accidentally let spam slip through you can counter it with this handy tool.
Search and Accept
This tool does exactly what it says. You can use it to search the title, URL, email, description and/or IP, and it will return the relevant listings. From here you can accept the ones you want. This means that if you find yourself lacking in any category, such as automotive, you can search 'cars' or 'automotive' and fill up your directory with what *you* want, leave the rest of the backlog for another day.
Auto Reject Stances
This is your new strategic front-line against spam. Here you can set parameters that will block certain submissions ever making it to your que. Popular stances include http:// and www. in the title/description, spammy IP's or emails and foreign language characters.
reCaptcha
4.0 of SBD Directory Software comes pre-installed with recaptcha. You can use this function to enable it. To find out more about recaptcha, and to register, click here. Note: we are not affiliated with recaptcha in any way.
