Why am I getting Page Not Found errors when I click on a category?
This error is most likely because your .htaccess has not been configured properly. If you are sure you have followed the setup instructions, the problem may be that your webhost has disabled .htaccess functions. Contact them to find out if they can sort it out for you.

Can I put a picture as a header?
Yes you can. To do this simply open up index.php in a text editor. Find the part that says <!-- Image Can Go Here --> and put in your image code (eg, <img src="yourimage.img" alt="heading">. Be conscious about the size of the image as this can ruin your format. Also - if you do this - you may wish to remove the heading text and slogan, otherwise these will appear ontop of the image.

Is this script SEO-friendly?
Definitely. This script has been created to have the maximum effect in search engines. You have the option of making links static, or dynamic. Dynamic is a redirecting link, and Static is a normal straight link. To be fully SEO-friendly you need to accept your links as the default - static.

How can I get traffic?
If your directory is truely SEO-friendly, and free, you can submit it to the original SEO-friendly directory list at http://info.vilesilencer.com/. If you get accepted it will bring you a lot of valuable traffic. Also, you can sign up for our new initiative for directory traffic exchange here - Directory Exchange.

Some submissions aren't getting through, why?
Along with customisable filters, there's a small amount of permanent filters to help combat against spam. These include limiting descriptions to 250 words, titles to 10, and duplicate entries will not be listed.

Category Icons or Premium Link Icons aren't working, why?
This is to do with the CHMOD options. For this to work from the admin control you will need to set the CHMOD options to 647 on the folders /cateimg/ and /premium/.
